Today — August 7, 2025 — The Washington Post published this so-called “news” story:
How Trump blunted the far-right furor over Jeffrey Epstein — The president still faces pressure from his base to deliver transparency on the matter, but a Post review shows he’s found success in changing the topic.
From my perspective, The Post wasted over half a page rehashing old news when the reporters should have concentrated on new information. These are just a few of the questions The Post needs to investigate.
What details about the two-day private interview with Ghislaine Maxwell were kept undisclosed? Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche conducted the interview in secret for two days — with only Maxwell’s lawyer present and no witnesses. Why was there so much secrecy?
Ghislaine Maxwell appears to have been rewarded by Blanche, who likely transferred her to a low-security prison in Texas—no fences! This new facility feels more like a guest house than a prison. Who made that decision? If not, did Deputy Attorney General and Attorney General Pam Bondi approve it together or transfer her separately?/
What about the new photos of Ghislaine? She has a perfect haircut, probably an updated color, and of course, her eyeliner is on perfectly. Is that how we treat people who were convicted of child abuse and are only a quarter of the way through their sentences? Are they going to the beauty parlor before questioning?
The far right was initially upset. Are questions being asked to their representatives about what they think about the eleven- or twelve-year-olds and the teenagers who were sexually abused?
How about a refresher on where all the money came from and who currently has it? Who benefited from that money? Maybe some of those giant sums are being used to buy secrecy for far-right leaders so they can hide their followers' feelings.
The bottom line: Judicial Watch is shouting for us to pay attention: Epstein Records Are Still Being Hidden.
The icing on the cake: Ghislaine Maxwell is not allowed to take service dog training at the fancy not-a-resort that pretends to be a prison. The CEO of Canine Companions has explained: “We do not allow anyone whose crime involves abuse towards minors or animals — including any crime of a sexual nature.” Canine Companions conducts the training at the (pretend) prison.
Not the end of the story yet!
